I'm so excited I need to tell the whole world. I will be going to see Rush in Oberhausen, Germany and then it's on to Munich for Oktoberfest for a couple of days. My favorite band's 30th anniversary tour AND the world's largest beer drinkkng festival? I'm nearing overload.

They also make these things that are like a jelly doughnut but have a meat filling instead of jelly. I thought it would be difficult to maintain girth sans beer, but I’m doing my best. Traversing 600-700 stairs per day doesn’t help either.

Finally, it's taken a little time to get the comm-link reestablished but now I'm back.
The rig isn't ready for us and won't be for about a week, oh well, the view is nice and the pay is the same...

Well, Back to work today. By my calculations, I should be in Kaliningrad by the time game six is starting. That will make it 3 am there and the chances of finding a place to watch it are between slim and none, and slim just left town...

Well, I was digging through some old school stuff and I finally found the information I was looking for:
The proper cutting speed for a hacksaw is 40-50 strokes per minute.
